An apprenticeship is a system of training a new generation of practitioners of a trade or profession with on-the-job training and often some accompanying study (classroom work and reading). apprenticeships can also enable practitioners to gain a license to practice in a regulated profession. most of their training is done while working for an employer who helps the apprentices learn their. Hi all, i am looking at retraining to do a job which has always appealed to me, namely as a carpenter/joiner. i have considered going back to england to do this (training), but that would basically mean leaving berlin behind and all that entails. so are there any english speakers out there who have done similar training in germany?. Apprenticeship. their vocational on-the-job training (apprenticeship) takes place in germany, switzerland or austria. the three countries share a similar professional education and training system. all apprentices go through a 3- to 4-year practical training in a private company..
